Hi, I became a Scout in 1965, awarded Eagle Scout 1970 & I was a member of Troop 237 Ogden, NC north of Wilmington, NC & the first Eagle Scout of Troop 237. I worked with Scouting until 1977 when I left and 50 years later I came back as ASM Troop 93 Pittsboro, NC. I wanted to give back to something that gave me so much. I'm on a campaign to encourage all Eagle Scouts to, if not already, come back to Scouting as a adult leader. As an Eagle Scout you have the leadership skills to make a difference. Looking forward to the 75th Anniversary Celebration and the Eagle Lunch on October 22nd, 2022.

Pam (wife) & I moved to Pittsboro December 2017 from Apex. Our retail business The Rusty Bucket is located in historic downtown Apex and we have been open for 18 years. We love living in Pittsboro. We have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 4 kids & 4 spouses & 11 Grandchildren. Oldest is 12 and was born on Pam's birthday and the youngest will be 2 in August and she was born on my Birthday.

I came back to Scouting in 2020 as I felt obligated as an Eagle Scout to give back to something that gave so much to me growing up. THANK YOU, Troop 93 for allowing me to join the troop and the past two years have been great. Maybe you should consider being a volunteer in Scouting. Scouting has never needed adult leadership more than now. Step to the challenge.

Mack
